Education Services

Malax municipality provides both Swedish- and Finnish-language early childhood education and preschool.

Within early childhood education, there are five daycare centers. Preschool education for 6-year-olds is organized at four localities.

In Swedish-language basic education, there are four schools for students in grades 1–6 and a joint school with Korsnäs municipality for students in grades 7–9. Finnish-language basic education is provided in Vasa, Hietalahden koulu for students in grades 1–6 and Merenkurkun koulu for students in grades 7–9.
