Welcome office

The Welcome Office is an advisory center for immigrants in collaboration with the city of Närpes, providing service in Swedish, English, Bosnian, Serbian, and Croatian.

Advisor Aida Simidzija has customer reception in the Municipal Hall in Malax every other Monday (even weeks) at 9.00–16.00, tel. 040-566 1572, email: welcome.office@narpes.fi. The Municipal Hall is located at Malmgatan 5, 66100 Malax. 

 

The Welcome Office offers advice, guidance, and information on:

• services of authorities (police, magistrate, Social Insurance Institution, Tax Administration, and the Employment and Economic Development Office)
• language courses and educational opportunities
• healthcare, daycare, and the school system
• leisure opportunities and housing.

 

The service is free and appointments are not necessary. 

 

The Welcome Office also offers services to various stakeholders within the municipality, businesses, employers, educational organizations, and the third sector.
