Sockenstugan

Sockenstugan was built in 1830 south of the church. It was intended to hold meetings, confirmation classes, parish meetings, and Sunday school. When compulsory education was introduced in 1921, the house was expanded and operated as an elementary school (1st and 2nd grades) until the spring semester of 1954, after which it functioned as a civic school for a few years. Nowadays, Sockenstugan is used for youth activities by the parish and municipality.
