Rectory

The current rectory is likely situated on the same grounds as the parish’s first rectory. It was built during the challenging famine years of the 1860s based on Carl Axel Setterberg’s drawings. The rectory also housed the pastor’s office and the parish archive. Nowadays, the rectory is home to the clergy and their family. In September 2011, after the completion of renovations and expansion, the pastor’s office was relocated to the Parish House. During the renovations between the 1970s and 1980s, the old building tradition was carefully preserved. The rectory is surrounded by a park-like enclosed courtyard, consisting of the main building, an old outbuilding, and a new garage.
