Employment services provide support for jobseekers and employers in all situations related to job search and recruitment. We help jobseekers find employment, develop their skills and plan their career paths. For employers, we offer services for recruitment, workforce development and entrepreneurship, while strengthening regional vitality and cooperation.
Employment services are provided as part of the Ostrobothnia employment area, which includes the municipalities of Kaskinen, Korsnäs, Laihia, Malax, Mustasaari, Närpiö, Nykarleby, Vaasa and Vörå. The City of Vaasa acts as the responsible municipality for the employment area.
We recommend using the electronic services available through the Job Market Finland e‑services. It is the fastest and most convenient way to manage your affairs. When logged in, you can, for example, register as a jobseeker and submit a contact request.
If you are unable to use the e-services, you can contact employment services by phone or visit one of our service points in person.

Employment services are available by appointment in Malax, including for the submission of forms. You can request an appointment from your designated official by logging in to the Job Market Finland e‑services and submitting a contact request.
Forms can be submitted during the opening hours of the municipal office at Malmgatan 5, 66100 Malax.
