Wilma is the municipality’s portal for school administration. As a guardian, you can easily follow your child’s school progress in Wilma.

If you don’t have login information for Wilma, contact the school to get an access code. With the access code, you can create your own login information.

What do I need to create a Wilma username?

A letter with an access code.
You’ll receive a letter from your child’s school containing a personal access code. If you haven’t received an access code or need another one, contact the school.

A valid email address.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Wilma Connect

Go to Wilma’s connect page https://malax.inschool.fi/connect.

Step 2: Email address

Enter your email address.

Step 3: Confirmation message

You’ll receive a confirmation message sent to the email address you provided. Open your email and follow the link in the message. If you don’t receive a message, check your spam folder. If the message isn’t there either, contact the educational institution.

Step 4: Access code

There is an access code for each child/role. Enter the access code in the box on the right and click “Add”. Enter all your access codes (one at a time). After entering all the codes, click “Continue”. It doesn’t matter in which order you enter the access codes.

Step 5: Personal identification number or date of birth

Enter your child’s personal identification number or date of birth as confirmation. Enter the personal identification number in the format 150699-1234 or 150600A1234. If the personal identification number is not accepted, make sure you have entered the correct one. The instruction text indicates whose personal identification number is requested. In some cases, you should provide a date of birth instead of a personal identification number.

Step 6: Your own name

Enter your own name.

Step 7: New password

The password should be at least 8 characters long and include at least three of the following: capital letters, lowercase letters, numbers, or special characters. Special characters include, for example, commas, colons, and question marks. Personal information is not suitable as a password.
